They also move faster and have a larger attack range. When gathering wood on a mammoth, I personally have found that it’s stomp, or left trigger (Xbox) attack gathers more than its main attack.

currently the 100% best way to get resources, at high levels (people have cleared up the low level gathering) thatch-- use an ankylo on trees, bronto is also good at this but its slow speed makes the ankylo a better pic.and plus you need to uppgrade melee power on em to make it go faster to collect with them.
